2. NHS BANDS
Every new course of treatment will have to be completed under one of these bands:
Band 1
Band 2
Band 3
Urgend Band
regardless of how many appointments or time it takes.

3. BAND 1 (1 UDA) a clinical examination, diagnosis and treatment planing
preventive procedures
Scale and polish
Fluoride application
Fissure sealants
Adjusting restoration margins and contact points
Brushing and diet advice
Adjusting appliances (denture ease or repair broken denture)

4. BAND 2 ( 3 uda ) Treatment of periodontal disease ( BPE ≥ 3)
Restorations (that do not require lab)
Extractions
Endodontic treatment, apicectomy or pulpotomy
Oral surgery
Splinting teeth
Additions to dentures
Reline dentures

5. BAND 3 ( 12 UDA ) Veneers and crowns Bridges Dentures
Inlays and onlays
custom-made appliances ( mouthguard ), not including sports guards

6. URGENT BAND ( 1,2 UDA ) Examination and diagnosis of the problem
