3 The first thing you eat is arguably the most important:
It dictates the way in which the body will fuel its self during the day Sugar is rapidly used up, leading to cravings, blood sugar fluctuations and fat storage. Proteins and fats are much more slowly converted to energy, yield more stable blood sugar and the use of fat as a fuel. Choose Your Fuel “Sugar, a form of carbohydrates, is quickly available to be converted to energy. If sugar calories are not used as energy shortly after they are consumed, however, they are converted into stored body fat by a process known as lipogenesis. One form of sugar in particular, fructose, may be more dangerous and likely to be stored as body fat than other types of sugar, such as sucrose, or table sugar.” Toast Cereal Orange juice (Carton) Makes You Fat © MACHINES 2014

4 Eat correctly for the way you live and train
An inefficient way to try and drop body fat is to try and burn it off in a training session You cant burn enough calories during the session to make any appreciable difference! Unless that session changes your physiology and the way your metabolism functions EPOC Excess post exercise oxygen consumption (the after burn) hours after exercise Heightened metabolism Gear the body up to use fat as a fuel throughout the Day AND Night © MACHINES 2014
