1. POETRY GALLERY WALK
First, you will walk around and familiarize yourself with the poems. Read and read some more to get to learn more about each other and how different writing can be.
While reading, music will be playing. It should be silent, as though you are walking around an art museum.
Second, you will be given the “Poetry Gallery Walk” handout. Complete the graphic organizer, including the analysis questions on the half sheet of paper.

2. POETRY ANALYSIS/REFLECTION
Read the top four choices for your favorite poem.
Choose one.
Write a paragraph that includes: two stars and a wish, information from the questions you answered, and why you believe their poem is the best.
Write two questions you have for the author.
