Graduation Graduation Credit Requirement: 220 credits
Please note: CAHSEE is no longer a graduation requirement! Graduation Coursework Requirements: Language Arts: 4 years (40 Credits) Math: 2 years (20 Credits) History: 3 years (30 Credits) Science: 2 Years (20 Credits) Foreign Lang or Fine Art or VAPA: 1 year (10 credits) PE: 4 semesters (20 credits…exemptions don’t receive credits) Health: 1 semester (5 credits) Electives (“academic” and/or “fun/enrichment”): 75 credits Grades of a D or higher will earn graduation credits If you have never failed a class, you should have at least 120 credits If you have failed some classes, at this point all juniors need to have at least 100 credits towards graduation (this means NO MORE Fs!!!) If needed, seek credit recovery options (more details to follow)

A-G Requirements Grades of C’s or higher in ALL core subjects
Graduation requirements PLUS the following: 3 years of math (4 recommended) Minimum math requirement: Integrated Math 3 or advanced mathematics Minimum science requirement: Biology + Chemistry (or Physics) 2 years (3 or more years recommended) of the same foreign language Minimum of 1 year of a Fine/Visual Art or Performing Art (VAPA) Maintain competitiveness by: Taking extra and/or upper division classes Challenging yourself to take honors and/or AP classes (however, it is always important to know your strengths and limitations) If needed, seek grade improvement options NOTE: There is a difference between credit recovery and grade improvement (more details to follow)

Do you have at least 100 credits? Do your credits add up? Have all of your summer school classes posted? Is your goal graduating high school or meeting a-g? Are you in need of a grade improvement plan to meet a - g? Are you in need of a credit recovery plan to graduate on time?

Who can apply? Students who are 16 or have competed 10th grade Students in good standing with a GPA of at least 3.0 Students who are seeking educational opportunities not otherwise available to them When? California College Guidance Initiative (CCGI)
This is taking the place of Career Cruising CaliforniaColleges.edu is a website that you can use in grades 6-12 to help you plan and save all your college and career preparation activities. You can review your saved goals, take assessments, and explore different career choices within Your Portfolio One-stop location for college and career resources College application help Calendar reminders and guidelines for all high school grade levels Calendar reminders and guidelines for college and testing

Login Directions Step 1 Sign in (your account has already been created for you). Account name: cnusd###### (cnusd + your ID #) Example: cnusd123456 Password: MMDDYYYY (your birthday) Example: If your birthday is 5/7/98, you enter Step 2 You will be asked to reset your password. Change your password to First Name Initial + Last Name Initial + Student ID number (i.e. FL123456) Step 3 You will be asked to create a security question. Select one of these two questions: In what city were you born? What is the name of your hometown? Answer the remaining questions on the page, agree to the terms and conditions and click on “continue.” You may now begin your first activity and your Plan of Study

Your Plan of Study Step 1 Click on the tab called “High School Planning” Step 2 Click on the box called “Your Plan of Study” Step 3 Click on “Create another course plan” Step 4 Click on “Create a plan of study from scratch” Step 5 Click on “Show all defined requirements” Step 6 You will be asked whether you wish to follow CSU Minimum Eligibility Requirements or UC Eligibility Requirements. Decide which path you wish to follow and click “Choose this set” on the far right column. Once you complete step 6, you will see the Plan of Study. You may add classes to begin planning for the A-G requirements. The A-G requirements are the classes you will need to take to be college-eligible.

Next Steps Now that you have reviewed your transcript, take the time to analyze your post-graduation options Thursday, September 8th, you will be attending a more specific presentation which should correlate with your post-graduation plan Thursday, September 8th Go to your Language Arts class first to take attendance Your teacher will tell you where to go Proceed to your designated location Be prepared to receive detailed information Actively participate during the presentation
