2. The Academic Success Center
The Academic Success Center (ASC) is here to help. We provide students with support and resources that can help ensure successful completion of studies and programs.
Services include:
one-on-one peer and faculty-led tutoring assistance
online tutoring
organized group study sessions,
workshops
study skills training
academic coaching
web resources

3. ASC Tutor Lab
For the summer term, the ASC Tutor Lab is open 8:00-4:30 Monday-Thursday and provides many forms of academic assistance, including one-on-one and small group tutoring, Online Tutoring, Supplemental Instruction (SI) meetings, study groups, Instructional software, Microsoft Office Suite, interactive tutorial videos, and web-based programs covering a wide range of subjects.

4. Online Writing Consultation
NFCC students that cannot come to the tutor lab can still receive assistance through the online writing consultation. The student will receive a detailed peer review of their written assignment, such as a paragraph or an essay, regardless of the stage of the drafting process and subject.
NFCC peer tutors will not edit the written assignment but will insert comments within the student's submission and address the student's most common grammar and mechanics issues.

5. SMARTHINKING Online Tutoring
Smarthinking is an online tutoring service that NFCC is making available to its students. Smarthinking provides tutoring in mathematics (basic math through Calculus including Bilingual Math), Biology, Intro Human A & P, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Accounting, Intro to Finance, Statistics, Spanish, Writing, Reading, and IT Support.
