student records from 10 community college districts and 3 universities … ….that allows institutions to track students as they move through Arizona’s higher education pipeline

How is ASSIST Used? To analyze academic performance and course-taking behavior of transfers How well did students perform in their first semester after transferring? How well did students do in upper level courses after transferring? What is the graduation rate of students who transferred?

Why Use ASSIST? Allows community colleges to track their students through the transfer process Serves as a valuable decision support tool for institutional policy makers who need answers to help them address curricular reform issues
