9 Session Management Updates
New process for Test Sessions: Create Proctor Cache Prepare Start Unlock After sessions are created and before the session is started, users can prepare the session. This step takes the information provided when users created sessions to assign students to their test forms. Users should prepare sessions a week before testing, when they are proctor caching. We’ll now take a look at the new process for test sessions. Previously, this process took place when a user clicked the Start button. By adding this extra step prior to testing, test sessions are immediately ready after the Start button is clicked. Testing Coordinator Training

33 TestNav App Updates Testing Coordinator Training

34 Additional Updates iPad: Enable microphone permission
Confirm App Self Lock Max time in kiosk mode ProctorCache: Version The first time TestNav is launched, it displays the Enable Microphone Permission message. Tap or click OK to grant microphone permission. Confirm App Self Lock message appears after selecting App Check on iPad. This allows device to run in Single App Mode so no other apps can be used during testing. iOS version 9.3x, 3 hours max time in kiosk mode. Determine which iOS version(s) you use. Before the testing session, determine whether any students will exceed the allotted time testing in kiosk mode. If a student will exceed the time limit for kiosk mode testing, plan a break for the student to sign out before the time limit expires. The proctor must then resume the student using the assessment management system and have the student sign in again. If the time limit expires, kiosk mode stops and the student is exited from the test. The proctor must resume the student using the assessment management system, restart the iPad, and have the student sign in again. Testing Coordinator Training
