Four housing units that are attached at the side walls. Generally have 2 levels Not arranged in a straight row, like townhouses. May be designed in unique shapes. What Am I? Cooperative apartments A type of ownership
People buy shares of stock in a non-profit housing corporation (“buy” unit by purchasing shares). Residents do not own their units, but they do own an undivided interest in the entire property. Shares entitle them to occupy a unit in the building. Another name is …co-op. If a resident wants a larger unit, he/she purchases more stock. What is a Geodesic Dome? A geodesic dome is a structure built in an almost spherical shape. Because of its curved walls and ceiling, these domes use approximately a third less surface area to enclose the same volume as a traditional box home. This allows less heat to escape through he walls in the winter and less air-conditioned air to escape in the summer. Save energy/space. CMAGNO
