6 CHS at a Glance All academic course work is done on COM campus.
Students may enroll in more than two college courses per semester. (HB 505) Students may begin taking college classes as early as their ninth grade year based on their school district’s policy. (HB 505)

7 CHS at a Glance CHS students have a 40 percent tuition waiver (12 hours approximately $485). Textbooks are provided. College Transition classes provide students with activities to learn how to be successful in college and the workplace.

Junior or senior classification or permission from high school Passing all state assessments College reading level (12.6) Prefer completion of Algebra I Foundation Graduation Plan

* 07/16/96 Admissions Requirements Student: Meet with high school counselor for school procedures Complete online application for COM (ApplyTexas) Pass the TSI Assessment (ACT/SAT) Practice test site: Complete CHS application ( Parents sign and complete recommendation form Teacher, counselor and assistant principal recommendations Write a personal essay Submit completed application to your counselor or to the CHS office for private school students Meningococcal Meningitis Vaccination required IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE CONSISTING OF: EMPLOYEES IN EACH AREA FACULTY FROM EACH AREA REP FROM EACH ISD ADVISORY COMMITTEE MGMT.
