The writer of Hebrews refers to Jesus: "Thy throne O God is forever and ever...” [Heb. 1:8] Other prophets introduced their message by saying "Thus saith the Lord...” but Jesus spoke on His own authority saying, "I say unto you...” [Matt. 5:18, 20, 22, etc.] Jesus claimed that God's angels were actually His angels. The Holy Spirit is God Proof Texts:
The Holy Spirit said, "...for I have sent them Myself ..." Impersonal forces do not send men. [Acts10:19-20] “I appeal to you ... the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me ...” [Rom 15:30]. How could one talk of "love of the Spirit" if the Spirit was just a way of describing a ‘force?’ “... the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.” [Math. 12:31]. One God – Three Persons Proof Texts:
The Son prays to the Father: “... Father, glorify Me in your own presence with the glory that I had with You before the world existed. [John 17:5] They mutually use the pronouns I, Thou, He and Him when speaking to or of each other. [Matt. 17:5; John 16:13; et al] The Father sends the Son, and the Father and the Son send the Holy Spirit who acts as their Agent. Errors to Avoid Tritheism: Three gods who are all of the same sort.
Monarchianism: Failure to hold that there are three Persons who are equally God. Modalism: God is an actor who plays three different parts.
