It means summarizing a story for a film and then analyzing all aspects of this film such as plot , actors , music and setting of the film . We can find it in a magazine or newspaper.

Purpose:
To present a movie to readers and describe its qualities.

For Those Who Wonder if “Alice in Wonderland” is Worth Watching
Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” was probably the most anticipated movie of the year But is it any good? First of all, I should probably mention that hardcore Lewis Carroll fans may find it very disappointing. The movie is merely based on the book. It features most of the same characters and a couple of the same locations, but the story is completely different. Alice is no longer a little girl, but an unconventional young woman who has the same dream of finding herself in Wonderland every night, until one day it happens in real life. Her arrival was expected. Alice is supposed to save the inhabitants from the evil Red Queen and get the reign back to her kind sister, the White Queen. She knows nothing about it, but she is meant to be the knight in shining armor, both figuratively and literally speaking

It is a descriptive travel writing Writing Skills: Describing places its history and things to do. Purposes: To interest readers in a place by telling them what see and how to spend their time.

6. Scary Story:
We mean by scary stories horror stories or ghosts stories . These kind of stories present supernatural events.
Writing skills:
Describing supernatural events , people and places.
Purpose:
To entertain readers by scaring them

7. Speech: Writing skills: Expressing ideas and opinions. Purpose:
To make listeners agree with an opinion.

8. Resume and Application Letter:
Writing skills:
Organizing and writing resume or a formal letter
Purpose:
Applying for a job, to introduce yourself to an employer.
