Whilst there may be no power in prayer itself Scripture and history show there is a way of praying that is more likely to get an answer.
Persistent prayer – like Jacob wrestling and the persistent widow.
‘The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.’ [NIV]. James 5:15
The emphasis is not on the way the person prays, but on:
who they pray to
the character of the pray-er
