Professional Experience
Prashant is a Partner with Tax & Regulatory Services at BDO India. He leads the indirect tax practice in the northern region. He has over 15 years of experience in advising several multinational corporations on indirect taxes. He has a rare combination of working with multinational giants such as Pepsi (GM-Legal) & Agro Tech Foods (Manager & Head Indirect Tax) at senior level as well as working for the best of consulting firms [PwC, Deloitte & KPMG] both in India and abroad [Deloitte London]. Prashant was heading the PwC Hyderabad Indirect Tax practise before been transferred to PwC Gurgaon. He has also advised various public sector undertakings.
Major Projects
Prashant has worked on various domestic and international engagements. Prashant has extensive experience of working on European GST during his 14 month secondment to London. His service domain includes supply chain structuring, identification and strategizing of planning opportunities, advising clients on AEO, drafting representations for various government authorities and providing litigation support on critical tax matters. He has also managed assignments in the areas of due diligence reviews, All India VAT compliance outsourcing and indirect tax function effectiveness and restructuring.
