Role Played in the Body Copper Catechins Building strong tissue, maintaining blood volume, and producing energy in your cells. Required to manufacture collagen, a major structural protein in the body. Helps with incorporation of iron into red blood cells, preventing anemia and is involved with generation of energy from carbohydrates inside of cells. Increased plasma antioxidant activity or the ability of plasma to scavenge free radicals. Brachial artery dilation or blood vessel expansion Fat oxidation Resistance of low-density lipoprotein (“bad” cholesterol) to oxidation.

Copper Catechins 2 mg recommended daily intake 10 mg of copper can have a toxic effect There is no established recommended consumption amount for catechins.
