1 Addict 2 Athlete Schedule
Classes run for 8 weeks on the following schedule: Monday 9:00-11:00 AM Wednesday 9:00-11:00 AM Friday Makeup Class 9:00-11:00 AM All classes are offered in conjunction with Duke City Cross fit at: 520 Airport Dr NW Suite 5 Albuquerque, NM 87121  The mission of ACHR is to support people who live with mental health, or co-occurring mental health and substance abuse challenges.  Through peer support, in a safe environment, ACHR aims to help people experience positive life growth by focusing on hope, humor and personal responsibility.  The sense of acceptance found at ACHR is a direct result of people in recovery reaching out to others. We strive to provide a stigma-free environment to promote acceptance and recovery. Everyone has the ability to grow and change; therefore, if we relate to a person's potential, there is the possibility of calling forth greatness.  In a war against addiction, you not only need a healthy mind, but a healthy body as well. Addicts 2 Athletes offers a non-traditional, non-medicinal approach to addiction recovery.  To change this brochure, replace our sample content with your own. Or, if you'd rather start from a clean slate, press the New Slide button on the Home tab to insert a new page. Now enter your text and pictures in the empty placeholders. If you need more placeholders for titles, subtitles or body text, copy any of the existing placeholders, then drag the new one into place. And did you notice we made fold marks for you? They are really light, but if you don’t like them showing on your brochure, select and delete them before you print.

2 What is CrossFit? Participants Supporters Purpose Contact Us
CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life. They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time—or power. The more work you do in less time, or the higher the power output, the more intense the effort.   To become an athlete you must complete a short assessment and member application. For more information contact us at or stop by 913 2nd St NW ABQ, NM during regular hours.  Supporters Purpose Are you an organization interested in partnering with A2A-NM? We would love and appreciate community support in the way of financial contributions, donations or in-kind services. For more information contact Elise Padilla at or The goal of A2A-NM is to assist low risk substance abuse addicts in finding and maintaining recovery by teaching the principles of criminogenic needs (characteristics, traits, problems, or issues of an individual that directly relate to the individual's likelihood to reoffend and commit another crime) and replacing the resulting antisocial behaviors with prosocial behaviors and community inclusion. By teaching prosocial behaviors and assisting addicts in developing positive relationships with A2A-NM mentors, community participants and A2A-NM program graduates. After graduation, participants are invited back to A2A- NM as mentors, to continue their physical fitness goals and to maintain community inclusion with members of the community gym providing space for A2A-NM.
