2 CGFC CGFC WOMEN’S AFL FOOTBALL 2017
With the introduction of a women’s league into the AFL and more women involved in the game than ever before, it has never been a better time to get involved with footy. In 2017 the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) of which Caulfield Grammarians Football Club (CGFC) is a member, is introducing a women’s football competition. CGFC is committed to fielding a women’s team in the VAFA women’s competition in 2017 and needs your help. We are proud and passionate about empowering women to be involved across the sporting community having introduced a netball team in 2016 and aim to introduce further teams in 2017. Whether it’s footy or netball, whether you’re a seasoned pro or have no experience at all, or just want to get involved, we would love to hear from you. 4 Vision & Goals Our Vision Our Goals
A clear motivation for the club is to make football and sport fun. The club aims to create an opportunity for sustained success which will carry the club forward, and to provide the platform for years to come. A broader engagement with the CGFC community is critical to the long term success of the club. Our Goals We have established five goals as we move towards the centenary of the club in 2020. To achieve sustained success on and off the field and provide the platform for years to come. To create an environment that supports, nurtures and rewards players, to be the best they can be. To be a Club that we are proud of and people want to belong to. To have fun. To create a path for CGS members to continue their sport (men and women) post their time at school.

5 Why get involved? Because you’ve always wondered what it would be like to play football or netball, or a great opportunity to try something new. Stay fit and healthy. Stay in touch with friends through awesome social events. Strong professional network and opportunities.
