The Astrotrek Tour at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center is offered exclusively to 4th and 5th Grade students When? March 8th – March 10th Leave 4pm for Alabama from CGES Arrive back at CGES Sunday 8-9pm

Learn history of the U.S. Space Program and about the men and women who shaped it into what it is today.

Rough Draft of Schedule
Friday, March 8th – Leave from CG at 4 pm and drive to Sellersburg, IN where we stop at McDonald’s for dinner. Head to Huntsville and unload at hotel where students will go to their room and go to bed. Saturday, March 9th – Head to U.S. Space and Rocket Center at 7:30. Eat breakfast and meet our tour guide. The rest of the day is filled with attractions, hands on activities, IMAX, climbing wall, science show, simulators, 3D movie, rocket park, lunch, and dinner. Around 8 we head back to the hotel where we have a pizza party and then lights out at 10. Sunday, March 10th – Head back to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center at 7:30 for breakfast and more activities. Visit gift shop and eat lunch before we leave at noon. Head back to Indiana and stop for dinner at McDonald’s in Sellersburg, IN. Arrive back at CG around 8-9 pm. (Parents will be called when we are about 1 hour away.)

What Can Students Bring?
Snacks for the bus (no glass bottles) Nintendo DS, PSP, iPod, etc. Cell phone Camera – I recommend a disposable one, but it is up to you! Cash – around $20 for gift shop and $5 for pizza party
