Objectives: TIA teamed up with the United States Postal Service to execute a national program that highlighted the 2006 U.S. Postal Stamps series “Wonders of America” (40 different stamps). The promotion directed visitors to SeeAmerica.org to view outstanding natural features found throughout the United States, such as the tallest tree, the highest mountain, etc. DJA’s goal was to create an interactive game leveraging this association, as well as educate visitors about various state landmarks. Mechanics: Consumers entered the sweepstakes by playing an online game involving the various “Wonders of America” stamps. Each stamp had to be dragged to the state in which that natural wonder could be found. Once all three stamps were correctly placed on the map, consumer were served up a sweeps registration page. DJA handled legal, administration, design and hosting of the online game & sweepstakes. Prizes: Five Grand Prize winners received travel vouchers and spending money for a trip to anywhere in the U.S., along with suggested itineraries that led them to the “Wonders of America” landmarks featured in the promotion and on the stamps. Results: Our goal was met and exceeded by educating thousands of visitors about the beautiful features of the U.S. through a fun and interactive online game!
