Hi! My name is Mrs. Amie Gray. I am super excited to be your 4th grade teacher this year! This is my third year to teach at Lawhon, and my 6th year teaching. My husband, who is a high school band director, and I live in Clear Lake with our beautiful daughter Madison who is almost 2. We also have the sweetest dog, Lily.

I grew up right here in Houston; in the Cypress area where I graduated from high school. I am an only child, but have grown up with my best friend, Beth, since birth, so she is like my sister. I also come from a big family; I have 5 aunt and uncles and close to 20 cousins!

I graduated in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and a minor in Music from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. I am certified to teach any subject EC-6, and I am also ESL certified.
