Essential Vocab. Directions
1. 5 vocab words/ week. You may do them all at once, or a day at a time. 2. You can use whatever source to find the information (Phone, science book, science dictionary, etc.) 3. You must add 1 word of your own every week that you feel relates to the unit. 4. Word in middle 5. Defintion on left: The study of life 6. Facts on right: Natural Science, 7. Examples: Life, Living Organisms 8. Non-examples: Rock, Non-living things

Microscope Directions
1. When you come to class you will see an “M” on your classroom number. 2. You will choose 3 slides out of the blue box to study one at a time. 3. Once you get a clear image, you will draw a circle with everything you see in the image. Color the picture. 4. To the right you will write: Specimen name: Color lens used: Red, yellow or blue: How your image compares to a printed image: *Be sure to shut off the light, leave the lens on red, and give your “M” card to a new person!
