OBJECTIVES AND MISSION ( TOR)
Oversee the performance of Palliser’s supervised CIS(s).
Single Point of Contact for all parties (Internal/ External-Palliser, Gov.)
Expansion /upgradation of existing & new infrastructure city wide
Participation of all principal stake holders (Parent/Society/ MCC)
Develop policy and Procedures to support Committee role.
Conduct Meetings for status upgrade (Admins/Management)
Review Financials & Expenses and evaluate Society Fee and Funding.
Develop Evaluation Criteria for Performance and Reward
Develop and Establish Academy or Learning Centers or affiliation assistance for short courses to new comers, students, for career growth, higher education options and technology awareness.

COMMITTEE FORMATION (CIS)
In the Current set of MCC (umbrella Organization) , MCFC ( The Society for School purpose) and  Parent Council ( Parent Representative) the following member participation proposal  is Recommended and Approved. Total of Six Members
2 –Members from MCC ( iftikhar, Sadaqat )
2- Members from MCFC ( XXXX, XXXX)
2 –Members from School Council (one member from each Campus)
Note: In future The committee formation can be reviewed and adjusted based on future schools with associated societies.

School Education & Staff Operational Management by Palliser.
School Performance & Evaluation Reporting to Committee.
Palliser/ Principals Meeting with Committee once a month
Financial Status Reporting to Committee as required.
Capital Project ( Society) status Reporting to Committee.
Maintenance and Upgradation status to Committee.
Contracts, Agreements & Purchasing by Committee Recommendation
Legal, Security , Safety surveillance by CIS management with Reporting to Committee.

AUTHORITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Discuss and Decide on Non-Capital Changes and Adjustments
Management and Control School funds Collected under CIS brand.
Manage and Maintain Resources and Infrastructure of CIS.
Manage and Maintain Contracts, Agreements and Procurement
Monthly Status Report with Decisions, Proposals and Recommendation to MCC board of directors and CIS affiliated Society
Major Final Decisions shall be well thought and fair basis with backing and reasonable advance communication to all stakeholders.

MODE & CODE OF CONDUCT
Committee Meetings - Respect for all and no personal vendetta
Confidentiality of matters- As and if required.
Administrative reporting per Organizational Structure
Public Communications in writing through School Administration
Matters of Concerns, Conflict of Interests, Reporting by-pass shall be dealt case-by-case under the provisions of by-laws, policies of jurisdictions authorities of Organizational Structure
Third Parties associated with CIS, must have binding agreement with financial consequences to School’s Policies related to code of conduct and operation procedures.

AREAS OF URGENT ATTENTION
School Performance / Improvement in educational excellence is not substantial. Quantitative and other analysis required.
Arabic Educations is in desperate need of overhaul, Mission and Vision to be Re-Defined with Responsibility.
Building Maintenance and Equipment Upgradation planning
School Waiting List space requirement to be entertained.
Schools Expansion in other area of City to be sought by the relevant Societies (Centres).

8. MCC- EDUCATION/ SCHOOL COMMITTEE
WHAT IS THE TARGET in 2016 or 3016?
Support Administration on well to focus on Educational Excellence and Enhance School Rating in Alberta
Analyze and Focus on Islamic/Arabic education objectives, make necessary adjustments as required
Support school administration to pursue cost effectiveness in contracts, leases, agreements and employment .
Develop policies based on requirement
Expand / Set up new School to cater the current and new demand for Muslim families in City of Calgary.
Seek more funding, establish scholarships and Rewards to enhance broader interest of students to make CIS their choice
