3 Project Background Industry requires.
The National Group of Academic Institutions and Research Centers of the Automotive Industry (GNIACIIA in Spanish), lead by Dr. Eduardo Solís Sánchez, president of the Mexican Association of the Automotive Industry, was created to encourage collaboration projects between academy, private sector and government. Looking for the greater amount of achievements and hence, promoting the best formation of human resources competences required by the Mexican Automotive Industry.

4 Project Background Mexican Demo Vehicle, is one of the collaboration initiatives of the GNIACIIA, its objective is to “Create the conditions in Mexico to promote the investment of research and development projects for the automotive industry."

6 Innovation Workshop Objectives
Identify the design requirements based on Mexico´s daily context that the future vehicle must have. The project requires the active and committed participation of Higher Education Institutes and Research Centers along the country. Students oriented by experts on electrification, autonomy and connectivity fields will develop in 36 hrs concepts for the future of Mexican vehicle.
