13 Cheating ***Copying another student’s work or sharing answers is a form of cheating and will result in a zero and a referral. ***

14 Absence = Failure Most students who fail this course do so because of attendance issues. Once you get behind, it is very difficult to catch up. Students who are found truant (skipping) will be given a zero for any work done or due that day & will not be allowed to make up any missed work.

15 Absence = Failure Students are responsible for asking for missed work or handouts when the teacher has free time at the beginning or end of the class. Class time will not be used to discuss work missed due to an absence. Any questions should be addressed during scheduled tutorial hours. Students will have 48 hours from the day they return to class after an absence, to receive full credit for the assignment(s).
