2. Background
Communities Channel Scotland hosts the Social Impact Pledge, a Scottish Government initiative aimed at increasing the social impact of public sector organisations across Scotland.
The Social Impact Pledge asks public sector organisations across Scotland to commit to increasing their social impact by making a public commitment to changing three aspects of their current operations or policies. This should be three things that they are not doing currently and haven’t done before, and can progress over the next 6 months.

3. North Ayrshire CPP Proposed Social Impact Pledges
The Strategic Management Team considered potential pledges at their recent meetings and along with three pledges to be agreed today there are a number of pledges that we will bring forward in 6 months time.

The ASH Charter
Supporting care leavers
You will hear more detail on each of these as part of agenda items 7, 8 and 11, and will ask you to agree the pledges as part of those agenda items.
