1. How to create Radiant Man on Activity Maker

2. Log in with your user name, then click the New Activity button to begin a new Activity.

3. This is the New Activity screen
This is the New Activity screen. It will start with one slide already open.

4. Slide 1
The first slide in Radiant Man is a movie. Click on insert video button and press browse. Navigate to the video entitled “Slide1”

5. After inserting the video remember to grab the corner so the video fills the entire slide. Then press the New Slide button to create a new slide.

6. Slide 2
For slide two, insert a picture by pressing the insert image button and find the picture entitled “Slide2pic”. Again drag the picture out to fill the entire slide.
Then click on the insert audio tab to insert the audio for slide 2. Navigate to “Slide2audio”. Then click on new slide.

7. Slide 3
For slide 3 insert another movie by going through the same steps you did for slide one. The name of this movie is “Slide3”. Again drag the video to fill the slide.

8. Slide 4
For slide 4 insert a picture by pressing the insert picture button. Again remember to drag the picture out to fill up the entire slide. The name of this picture is Slide4. Then click on the New Slide icon.

9. Slide 5
Slide 5 is a bit trickier because you will be working with the graph maker. Press insert bar graph button.

10. Next create a title for the bar graph, “What is Translucent”
Then go to the Y-axis and choose a sensor. You’ll select the Light sensor lux (INT), and name the y-axis, Light.

11. Next click “Enable prediction”
Next click “Enable prediction”. This will create a predict bar for each material you will be measuring. Enter “Plastic Wrap” as the first material to be measured. Then click the “+” sign to add another material. The Second material is “Newspaper” and the third is “Cardboard”.
Once done with the X-Axis, select the “Done” icon to go back to the graph.

12. The graph should end up looking like this.

13. Slide 6
For slide 6 insert the video entitled, “Slide6”.

14. Name the Activity
Type in the name “Radiant Man”, and choose the category Light. Then click the activity icon and find the file called thumbnail. Add a description about the activity.
To name the activity press on the Activity Details button next to Activity name.

15. To view the Activity on your tablet click, Publish to my einstein™
To view the Activity on your tablet click, Publish to my einstein™. Then log on to einstein™ World on your tablet. The Activity will download automatically.
Finally to save your activity hit the save icon.
