Good news for those of you who were unable to make the Supra lockbox exchange earlier this month. HAR has added four new days for free lockbox exchange appointments at the Sam Houston Race Park for Monday, November 28 through Thursday, December 1.

HAR’s much-anticipated REALTOR® Celebration luncheon at the River Oaks Country Club is next week, but it’s not too late to register to attend!

Houston Market Movements
With the holiday season in full swing, existing home sales nationally rose for the second straight month to the highest they have been since This was unexpected since prices are also at record highs and inventory continues to shrink. As both incomes and employment figures improve, it would be a welcome surprise to see sales trend higher through to the end of the year.
In the Houston region, for the week ending November 20:
• New Listings increased 5.1% to 2,111
• Pending Sales increased 24.1% to 1,780
• Closed Sales increased 13.6% to 1,568

HAR is proud to announce a new initiative to assist REALTORS® in their career path to success! “HAR REALTOR® Launch—Your Path to Success” is four-class series held once a week for four weeks, with the last day being a half-day. In this intensive course, you will gain insights into how to handle your transaction from contracts to closing. The program include tools such as Prospecting - How to Create Business - Buyers and Seller's Expectations - Understanding Your Role before, during and after the transaction - Insight in the ancillary roles by subject matter experts such as appraisers, inspectors, lenders, title companies, home warranty reps and much more. You will receive hands-on, interactive experience to help you with your business before you even have business.
