A negative value means that survival is lower in men and women living in the most deprived areas compared with the most affluent. Rectum includes anus (C19-C21).
Ovary excludes overlapping lesion of female genital organs and unspecified female genital organs (C56,C57.0-C57.7). Brain includes malignant brain tumours only (C71).
