How have constitutional amendments changed suffrage rights throughout US History? Which Amendments are related to voting rights? Which amendments were dedicated to protecting the rights of minority groups? Explain how constitutional amendments have protected the rights of citizens age 18 and under. Which constitutional/legal protections provide “equal protection” to all citizens? Use an amendment to support your answer.

24 Activity II Each group member will read one of the 4 primary source readings. Your task is to write down passages that support either side of the argument. Share your findings with your group members. We will then come together as a class and share our findings. Closing Question? Has your opinion changed at all? Should this be viewed as free speech and be protected under the 1st Amendment?
