Remember, it is an honor to be selected into this program.  AVID students have mounds of intelligence and lots of potential to thrive academically.  Typically, they are the hardest workers in their classes and accept the challenge of more difficult courses.

11. Oswego East Selection Process
In order to be considered for AVID a student must:
Complete an application
Come to your scheduled interview in February / Early March. (Interviews will take place at your school, and parents may not attend)
The AVID Site Team will select the students they believe are the best fit for the AVID program.
Students will be notified of the Site Team’s decision via .
