19 Experiment You will pick a word from the “words” bag that we created at the start of class, and then you will visit a station, pick a literary device from the bag, and write an example of that device using your word, then write your name. For Example: 1. I picked the word “sunscreen” from the “words” bag 2. I travel to a station and pick out the literary term, “hyperbole” 3. I take my word and term back to my desk and figure out how to include that word in a hyperbole 4. I write my final sentence on the piece of paper at that station: When I was a camp counselor, I always made sure to reapply my sunscreen at least 2 billion times a day. --Miss Iatarola There are eight stations around the room Visit as many as you like and make a contribution to each You must try each word you pick, but if you have too much trouble, you can switch it out.

20 Homework Make sure you have all of your supplies listed on the syllabus for Monday. We will be having a materials check for points.

21 QUIZ!!! Use your post-it note from your desk (or a piece of scrap paper if yours is gone) and write down the secret word. Turn it into me before you leave. If you are not using a post-it note, make sure that you put your name on the scrap paper before you turn it in, or you will not get credit
