2. Society «Latvian Red Cross» Kurzeme branch

After the first experience trip to German Red Cross, in Talsi have been formed Latvian Red Cross branch
Have been started first service - Humanitarian Aid Point and Health Room in Talsi District, Stende, 28 Robezu street, along with a successful and lasting cooperation with the German Red Cross Celle Committee.

3. Society «Latvian Red Cross» Kurzeme branch year 2003
In year 2003 the training is completed by Certified First Aid Teachers, and a First Aid Training License is obtained to every year train children and different groups of employees in the First Aid.
With the large support of a Talsi municipality, the First Aid competition event for Talsi District School students is organized annually.
Have been created LRC Youth Talsi Division, which participated in the first International Youth Forum in Germany.
Has started a soup kitchen service for poor and disadvantaged people. (Talsi district, Stende)

First Aid
From year 2005 till 2006, Talsi branch youth branch team with Talsi district municipality and German RC committee`s help, gets the right to represent Latvia in Eiropaan First Aid competition in Ireland and Italy.

International youth forum
Since year 2005 LRC branch with German RC Celle committee, organize the International Youth Forum that has become the anticipated tradition
Every year in forum is participating in Red Cross movement working youth from Latvia, Germany, Ukraine and Belarus. Since year 2015 also participates youth from Finland and Italy RC.
