Can Social Enterprise save Public Services?
NOMS has the capacity and capability to generate income to offset costs – reinvestment in Learning Skills and Employment and Prisoner support services Engaging prisoners in personal, social and economic values can save wider public costs (ie housing, health, crime etc) If successful in reducing re-offending (£37,000 per year per prisoner)
