Associating Sites with Maintenance Assets
Site Hub provides the ability to associate sites with Enterprise Asset Management (eAM) assets in your maintenance organizations. Requirements are: eAM is installed Sites are internal Legal entity is assigned Associating Sites with Maintenance Assets Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (eAM) enables maintenance of an organization's site’s assets, items of economic value owned by a corporation. If eAM is installed in your organization - Site Hub provides the ability to view and create associations of sites with specific assets in your maintenance organizations for tracking maintenance, performance, costs, and work history. Instructor Note Refer participants to the Oracle Enterprise Asset Management User’s Guide for detailed information regarding setup of assets in maintenance organizations, and defining asset groups. Associating Sites with eAM Assets
Assets are visible in Site Hub in the View Site and Update Site pages, in the Assets region. Site assets can include: Manufacturing equipment Buildings Machines Vehicles Appendix – Integration with Assets, Locations, and Organizations

Associating Sites with eAM Assets
Assets are assigned in Site Hub by selecting the Maintenance Organization and Asset Structure. Asset Asset 100 Asset 200 Asset 300 Asset 1 Asset 2 Maintenance Org Asset Structure Associating Sites with eAM Assets On the Create Asset Instances page for selected site records, select values for : Maintenance Organization, the eAM maintenance organization associated with the production organization. Asset Structure, the hierarchy of the parent asset. Linking Sites to Property Management Records
Site Hub provides the ability to associate property locations to specific sites. This includes buildings, floors, offices, parcels, or sections associated to the site. Requirements are: Property Manager is installed Sites are internal Legal entity is assigned Linking Sites to Property Management Records Oracle Property Manager enables you to create and manage site specific property locations and leases. Property location details appear in the Associations tabbed region of the site record. Linking Sites to Property Management Records
Navigate to the Create Property Locations page and enter values for: Operating Unit associated to this property Tenure such as leased or owned Location Type such as building, floor, or section Unit of Measure for valuating property Appendix – Integration with Assets, Locations, and Organizations

Linking Sites with Inventory Organizations
Site Hub enables you to associate an existing Oracle Inventory organization when creating a site record for: Internal sites Legal entity is assigned Linking Sites with Inventory Organizations Site records for internal sites can be linked to Oracle Inventory organizations; this information appears in the Associations tabbed region of the site record. When an Inventory organization is associated to the site, select the Organization Name link to navigate to the Organization Parameters window to view or update values. Instructor Note Refer participants to Defining Default Inventory Parameters, Oracle Inventory User’s Guide for detailed information on Oracle Inventory organization parameters. Copying Inventory Organizations
Organizations can be added to existing site records without organization assignments. Create a new organization by copying parameters: Use one of the search functions to search for sites Select records and choose Create Inventory Organization Copying Inventory Organizations Site Hub enables you to create a new organization record for a site by copying an organization definition from a model or existing inventory organization. This enables you to copy other organization specific data such as shipping networks, hierarchy assignments, bills of material, routings, items and item attributes from the model organization. On the Create Inventory Organizations page, only selected sites that do not already have an associated inventory organization display in the Selected Site region. Copying Inventory Organizations
Select a valid organization in the Model Organization field and: Copy Items Copy BOM Copy Routing Validate Items Copy Shipping Network Assign to Existing Hierarchies Purge Copying Inventory Organizations You have the option to copy or modify the following definition elements from the existing organization. Enable or disable the check boxes for the following definitions: Copy Items Copy BOM Copy Routing Validate Items Copy Shipping Network Assign to Existing Hierarchies Purge Appendix – Integration with Assets, Locations, and Organizations

Comparing Site Records
Site Hub enables you to analyze multiple sites side by side. Information displayed can aid in examining and comparing site productivity. Compare attribute pages for: Site Location Trade area group Comparing Site Records Select records from either the Simple Search or Advanced Search pages for comparing sites: Select at least two sites, and up to 5 site records Choose Compare in the Select Site box to display the View Comparisons page. Comparing Site Records
The attributes are displayed in a table. Comparison help in understanding advantages and disadvantages of sites. Sites display in the columns, attributes display in the rows. Appendix – Integration with Assets, Locations, and Organizations
