2. DFINITION OF ARTICLES
An article is a word used to modify a noun. Which is a person , place, object, or idea. Technically an article is an adjective. Which is any word that modifies a noun.

3. There are two different types of articles
1) Indefinite articles. A, An 2) Definite articles. The Consonants b,c,d,f,g,h,j,k,l,m,n,p,q,r,s,t,v,w,x,y,z. Vowels a,e,i,o,u.

4. Indefinite Articles
A is used before the consonants sound. Ex; 1) a book 2) a crow 3) a table 4) a university An is used before the vowels sound. Ex: 1) an apple 2) an hour 3) an honest man 4) an old man

5. DEFINITE ARTICLES
1)‘The’ is used before the names of Oceans, sea, rivers. Pool.
Ex: 1) The Ganga
2) The saraswati
3) the yamuna
2)The is used before the names of hills, mountains.
Ex 1) The mount everest
2) The Decan plateau
3) The himadri hills
3)The is used before the names of newspapers, magazines.
Ex 1) The Hindu
