Many Christians are concerned over the way in which prisoners are treated, particularly in severely overcrowded prisons. Christians are commanded by Jesus to care for the weak and prisoners. Some Christians visit prisons and work with the prisoners in accordance with the Parable of the Sheep and Goats (Matthew 25:31-46).
