Sample News Report MISSISSAUGA - For the past year, a group of students at Stephen Lewis SS have raised money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Society. This money was raised through the help of other family and friends who came out to fundraisers and walkathons the students held. “It is amazing to see young children in our community taking charge and creating events for such a good cause,” said a walker from the walkathon. With bright smiles on their faces, mothers, sisters, fathers, brothers, and grandparents came out to the walkathon in October and pledged money. The students raised $2,000 dollars at the event. The students were amazed to see how many community members came out the event. This event and their other fundraising efforts are really important to the group because many students and teachers have loved ones who have breast cancer, and the students want to support them. “We are so happy that our events have been so successful so far. The money will go to a good cause,” said the leader of the student group. The students hope to continue to raise money through the end of the school year. If you would like to be part of the events or even just to pledge money, you may contact the students at
