Launch the Netra Target Configuration now
To enable launching of CS_DAP_Debug_SS core: Select Windows -> Preferences Enable “Show non-processor devices” option and apply Launch the Netra Target Configuration now

Load CortexA8 System Initialization GEL file
Select A8 Target Right Click & select “Open GEL File View” Load the system initialization GEL Load CortexA8 System Initialization GEL file

Load CS_DAP_DebugSS STM enable GEL
Select CS_DAP_DebugSS Target Right Click & select “Open GEL File View” Load the STM enable GEL Load CS_DAP_DebugSS STM enable GEL

Connect to CortexA8 Target
Execute the CortexA8 GEL System Init GEL.

Execute the CS_DAP_DebugSS GEL to enable STM Trace

Set Focus to CSSTM_0 by single clicking on CSSTM_0 core

Connect Target CSSTM_0 Core (Right Click and Choose Connect Target)

Select the Trace Control Menu

Trace System Control Tab Configuration
Select the configuration as depicted in screen shot below Select the “Receiver” button

Trace Control Menu – Select Receiver. Set to 560 V2 Trace
Select OK on “Select Receiver” Tab and Parent “Trace Control System” Tab

Set a Trace Breakpoint Menu
Ensure CSSTM_0 core is selected New Breakpoint -> “Trace”

Edit the Trace Breakpoint Menu Properties
Right Click to get context menu and choose “Properties”

Trace Breakpoint Menu Properties
Set STM Trace Type to “Performance Probe”

Trace Breakpoint Menu Properties
Set Use Case to “Throughput per Sampling Period”

Trace Breakpoint Menu Properties – Select EMIF0 Write
Select OK to complete Trace Breakpoint Configuration

You can create another breakpoint following the same procedure and monitor
another subsystem. For example: Trace Breakpoint Menu Properties – Select EMIF1 Read

Enable Trace Breakpoint

Launch Trace Analyzer

Trace Analyzer Window will now be displayed
You can now load and run your application. On clicking “STOP” the DDR stats data will be rendered on the “Trace Window Display”
