1 WPT

2 There are two types of operation possible with the class E amplifier.
Resonant Semi-Resonant operation

3 Diagram for Resonant Operation

4 The Design producedure
How to calculate the values of components.

5 First calculate the Req of parallel resonance circuit

6 We obtain this Req.

7 Here note that Leq will be our primary inductance L1.
This inductance is nullified by the capacitor C1res(which is used to tune this tank)

8 Then do this step to calculate C1res and R(total resistance offered by tank)

9 Now there is need to calulate the values of C1 and C2.
C1 is calculated as follows. Here R is the resistance calculated in previous slide. C1 is the parallel capacitor

10 The series capacitor For C2 this formula is used. Here the LT is the inductance added in series with C2 which value is already known.

11 Circuit diagram for a semi resonant circuit

12 The series coil is very important can be adjusted to the value for better results. I mean I will futher change its value during my experiments.

13 Always having this yellow voltage across the Mosfet.

14

15

16 When I increased the voltage.

17 Again this wave form is the result of changing the voltage
Again this wave form is the result of changing the voltage. Refer to the yellow one.

18

19 Then I tried to raise the frequency from 75kHz to 200kHz but results are the same.
The voltage across the Mosfet are the same in shape. In the end of this ppt I want to share the ideal result that i want to get.

20 The Value of the component is changed because I raised the frequency from 75kHz to 200 kHz.

21 This is the simulation result I want to get the actual result close to this simulation.
