15. Hernan Cortes and Fransisco Pizarro were both from Spain.
Cortes conquered the Aztecs and Pizarro conquered the Incas?
Both were able to conquer due to the fact that the Native Americans were not immune to small pox.
Pizarro and Cortes are known as Spanish Conquistadors.
Because Pizarro and Cortes were from Spain is the reason why most people in South America, Central America, and Mexico speak Spanish. It is also the reason why most people in this region are Roman Catholic.
Pizarro and Cortes were also more technological advanced. They had better weapons and horses.
