Eligibility Requirements
In Partnership with the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.) presents INSERT CUSTOM INTRO AND INFORMATION HERE ABOUT YOUR OWN TAC LOCATION AND PROGRAM Eligibility Requirements Priority will be given to licensed clinicians or those under clinical supervision in preparation for licensure with a Master’s degree in social work, counseling or related discipline. Second level consideration will be given to Master’s level professionals (social work, counseling or related discipline) that do not hold a clinical license and are not under clinical supervision. Third level consideration will be given to Bachelor’s level social workers with at least 5 years of adoption experience. For Master’s degree or higher in social work, a counseling field or other related discipline: 1. Current professional license or is under clinical supervision in preparation for professional licensing Demonstration in a personal statement and resume that the applicant a) has a strong clinical background that will serve as the foundation for developing more advanced knowledge and skills; b) has genuine interest in working with adopted persons, prospective adoptive parents, birth parents and birth family members, adoptive families and kinship families in a clinical setting and c) will be able to incorporate the learning from the TAC in their clinical practice or organization. For Bachelor’s degree in social work, a counseling field or other related discipline: 1. Demonstration in the personal statement and resume that the applicant a) has a professional background with the sufficient knowledge and skills that he/she will be able to fully participate in the TAC ; and b) has genuine interest in working with adopted persons, prospective adoptive parents, birth parents and birth family members, adoptive families and kinship families in a clinical setting.
