7 Design & Technology If any pupil from Mr MacInnes’ S2 classes would like their light projects or folios, they have until the end of Friday to pick them up.

8 Attention Former S3 Construction Pupils
Anyone that was in Mr Stanton’s S3 Constructions Skills class before the change of timetable: If you want to take your models home, please come and collect them by the end of the day on Thursday 16th June. If they are not collected by then, they will be dismantled for scrap.

11 YOUNG ENGINEERS CLUB ATTENTION S2-S3 YOUNG ENGINEERS The Young Engineers Club will return in August after the summer holidays and will continue to run on Mondays. It will not meet on Monday 20th or Monday 27th June. This is because Mr Stanton is out of School on Monday 20th, and Monday 27th is the start of Activities week. Have a good holiday!

22 Edinburgh Zoo trip Important Info!!
Could all S2 (previous S1) pupils hand their trip money £9.50 into the office/Miss McCardle by Tuesday morning (21st June) at the latest. Also could you inform Miss McCardle by this date if you can be picked up/make your way home when we arrive back at school after usual 3:30 pm finish time (nearer 4.00 pm - 4:15 pm) so we can stay a little longer at zoo (see Penguin Parade).

26 Well done to Lasswade u16’s 7’s who won the Midlothian Schools 7’s on Friday at Penicuik.

27 RUTS are looking to recruit a representative from Lasswade High School who is in S4 – S6 to participate in a youth panel made up of young people from each high school in Midlothian. The group will help shape RUTS Climate Challenge project that aims to encourage lower carbon behaviours through cycling and other methods of active travel.
