1. Lynn Catholic Schools Introduces Inaugural Impact Speaker Series
Lynn Catholic Schools, a strategic partnership formed through the generous philanthropy of St. Mary's Board Chair Bill Mosakowski and his wife Jane and Catholic Schools Foundation, launches its Inaugural Impact Speaker Series featuring nationally acclaimed author Catherine Steiner-Adair, ED.D. on Monday, February 1st at 7 pm at the Lynn Veteran's Memorial Auditorium.
Lynn Catholic Schools invites all parents, teachers, mentors and partners to attend as Dr. Steiner-Adair gives a powerful address on the following:
Developmental levels of children and the ways technology may impact them
The positive use of technology in schools
The impact of interpersonal communications in and out of school
The challenges schools face when parents are not aware of the impact of technology
Examples of families who are facing the challenges of the impact of technology on family life in positive but very different ways.

Catherine Steiner-Adair, clinical psychologist, consultant and author of The Big Disconnect (Wall Street Journal Best Non- Fiction 2013) and Full of Ourselves, examines ways in which technology and media change how children learn and grow, and shows parents how to reap the benefits of technology while reducing the risks it poses at every stage of development. Dr. Steiner-Adair has appeared on PBS, MSNBC and NPR and has spoken at over 100 schools across the country.
