This gives a powerful and vivid image on Simon’s death and the death itself is similar to when Jesus died where his Father took him back to heaven.

Simon is trying to tell everyone that there is no beast just a dead man in a parachute but what’s ironic is that the beast are the Jack and his men who killed Simon so Simon’s saying there is no beast when Jack and his men are the beasts.
