Definitions Apnea – a temporary absence or cessation of breathing

Definitions OSAHS – a condition in which a person experiences repeated episodes of apnoea because of a narrowing or closure of the pharyngeal airway during sleep, resulting in daytime symptoms, especially excessive sleepiness
