1 TRIUMPH (Translational Research in Multi-Disciplinary Program) Post-docs
The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center is requesting applications for the TRIUMPH (Translational Research in Multi-Disciplinary Program) Post-docs Eligibility Requirements Ph.D. from one of the top graduate school (US or abroad) programs in any of the life sciences, At least 2 first-authored papers, Dedication to pursue translational cancer research, If applicant has a Visa, it must be valid for the entire program period. Applications should include: 1 . Updated Curriculum Vitae, 2. Reprints of first author publications, 3. Three letters of reference in sealed envelopes, 4. A two page essay describing your goals and dedication toward a career in translational cancer research. Anderson Cancer Center 1515 Holcombe Blvd, Unit 0355 Houston, TX 77030 The TRIUMPH program is a new post-doctoral fellowship program that will provide training in clinical and translational research for Ph.D.-trained individuals. The immediate goal of this program is to recruit talented, productive, well-trained Ph.D.s and train them through didactic coursework and clinical rotations. This is a 3 year training program that will result in the issuance of a certificate upon successful completion of the program from the University of Texas, Graduate Studies in Biomedical Sciences. Within the first year, the fellows will participate in a series of didactic clinical course work offered through the University of Texas (UT) Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Houston (GSBS), MDACC or the UT Medical School. They will also participate in five different clinical rotations while pursuing research in a translational research laboratory. This program also includes a unique mentorship to pursue clinical and translational research. The training that this program provides will produce translational scientists that can be paired with physician scientists to lead unique and well designed translational and clinical research projects.
