6. There are different kind of High Schools in Asnières:
The General Schools (2640 in France)
The Professional/Technical Schools (1637 in France)

7. General schools:
The first year is general, you can choose options but they are only for one year.
At the end of this first year, you have to choose a sector for you last exam, there are three generals sectors:
L → Litterature
ES → Economic & Social
S → Scientific

8. For Litterature Sector, the main subjects are French, Philosophy, History and Languages.

9. In our school, there are two classes for the Litterature sector.
But there are also a lot of options : Music, Theatre, Latin, old Greek, Russian, Arabic and Chineese.
From the Comenius project, Pauline is the only one to attend L courses.

10. For Economic and Social sector, the main subjetcs are the Economic and Social Sciences, Mathematics, History, Geography and also French.

11. In our school, there are three classes for the ES's sector.
Few people think that it's the hardest sector because a lot of topics are important.
From the Comenius project, Céline and Solène attend ES courses.

12. For the Scientific sector, the main subjects are Mathematics, and all the kinds of Sciences : Biology, Chimie, etc.

13. In our school, there are four classes for the Scientific's sector.
Many people consider it as the « sector of excellence » because of sciences.
From the Comenius project, Mathis, Solène, Jenanie, Mathis, Hannah and Dalia attend S courses.

14. There are also technologic sectors in the Generals High Schools, with a Baccalauréat at the end of the three years.
In our school, there is only one : STG, Sciences of Gestion and Communication, with two classes.

15. In Asnières, there are four High Schools;
Two General and Technologic Schools:
Lycée Auguste Renoir (our High School)
Institution Sainte Geneviève (a private school)
And two Technical/Professional Schools:
The Martin Luther King's E.R.E.A
The Prony's High School
