BUMP SET SPIKE!!!!

The Bump Pass 1. Make a flat surface with your arms.
2. Move feet to get under the ball. 3. Knees are bent. 4. Extend arms, body and knees to the ball 5. Use your legs not your arms. DO NOT SWING ARMS!!! 6. Arms should not go above you waist.

Volleyball Skills-The Overhand Set Pass
Elbows high Hands at eye level 2. Make a diamond shape with your hands using your thumb and index fingers Bend knees Push the ball using your fingers For a proper pass extend your wrist and arms.

Why do you set the ball? To set the ball up for someone to spike the ball. Set the ball to attack the opposing team.

BLOCKING SKILLS Hands need to be shoulder level, and palms facing forward Eyes on the ball Stand near hitters arm Jump and extend arms to block

The Underhand Serve 1. Face your target Hold the ball waist high in with your non-striking hand. 3. Step with the opposite foot and bring your striking hand back As you bring your hand forward, strike the ball with the heel of your hand Follow through toward your target

RULES FOR SERVE The ball must be served behind the service line.
You can serve under or overhand. Ball must be clearly visible to opponents before serve. Served ball may graze the net and drop to the other side for point. First game serve is determined by a volley, each subsequent game shall be served by the previous game loser. Serve must be returned by a bump only. no setting or attacking a serve.

RULES FOR SCORING Rally scoring will be used.
There will be a point scored on every score of the ball. Offense will score on a defense miss or out of bounds hit. Defense will score on an offensive miss, out of bounds hit, or serve into the net. Game will be played to 25 pts. Must win by 2 points.
