2. Japan Lifestyle
In 1920 a book was founded to improve living conditions.
it's founder, Morimoto Kokichi, called his way of living an improvement for this era's cultural living.
Other groups began to transform old traditions into a new tradition of living.

3. Australian lifestyle
More U.S products found their way into Australia such as Life Savers and Corn Flakes in 1921 which became very high choices in the Australian Market.
In 1923 Vegemite was created but wasn’t popular until the 1950’s with the creation of better advertising and more money.
In 1928 Aeroplane Jelly was created in Australia and became a craze for the people of Australia.
In 1927 the silent film for Marcus Clarke’s novel “For the Term of His Natural Life” was released and was one of the most popular Australian silent films. At this time 1,250 picture theaters were all around Australia and employed over 20,000 people.
On the 13th of November 1923 the first radio station known as 2SB Sydney was started. Owners of a radio would need a license from the station and would then receive direct broadcasts on their radios. In 1924 in January the radio station 2FC began operating presenting news reports, music and race results from a studio on a roof of a department store in Sydney, soon later 3AR became the first Melbourne radio station and by 1929 about 300,000 people listened to the radio with full radio licenses.

4. Japan Music/Art
Japans music in the 1920’s was divided between American, Europe and created styles from Japan.
After a while It was called Kagokyoku.
The most popular type of music in Japan was Enka.
Enka was a songs sung for political promoter, in the 1920’s it became very popular and was sung to express emotional feelings.
Fact! Koreas genre of ppongtchak is said to have copyed Japans genre of Enka

5. Australian Music/Art
In 1921 the first Archibald prize, which is a prize for artists who create portraits was given to William Beckwith McInnes which was one of the first recorded art award given to someone in the 1920’s.
In the same year of 1921 the first comic strip in the Sydney Sun newspaper called “Ginger Meggs” was shown.
In 1922 and 1923 two novels were published which were called “Kangaroo” by DH Lawrence and “The Stone Axe of Burkamukk” by Mary Grant Bruce.
In 1926 the first Australian jazz record was released by a group called “The Californians”.
In 1927, Dame Nellie Melba performed at the Parliament House in Canberra on its opening day.
In 1928, Grace Cossington Smith held her first Grosvenor Gallery in Sydney.

6. Japan Economy
After the war Japan was still producing a lot of goods for the war so when everyone else started producing there own products Japan had a lot of goods but know one to sell them to, so process started going up and businesses started loosing money because know one could buy anything and there was a financial panic and companies started to go out of business, and prices kept rising in a spiral of downfall of companies, when financers had made too many wrong decisions for speculations and expansions.

7. Australia Economy
In 1925 the Ford Motor Company started up a factory in Geelong, Melbourne started manufacturing automobiles with imported engines. This caused 500,000 registrations to be sold over to a population of 5 million people by 1928 but with this caused several car accident’s which caused the deaths of around 1000 people which introduced the new road rules and speed limits that we may know today.
In ,000 migrants form Britain moved over to Australia over a ten-year period which also improved the economy of Australia.

8. Japan Government
The Taisho period is a period were in Japan history from July to December the new emperor was a very sickly man, which pushed forward the shift in political power from the old group of elder statements and the democratic parties. It is commonly known as the Taisho democracy in Japan.

9. Australian Government
Government promoting more European (British) people to immigrate to Australia.
Jim Sculling was in charge of the Australian Labor Party which overtook the Bruce-Page coalition government.

10. Japan Significant Events
The significant events that happened during 1920’s was the Shōwa Financial Crisis, it was a financial panic in the year of 1927, during the first year of the Emperor Hirohito of Japan. It was a taste test before the Great Depression. It also brought down the government which was been controlled by the prime minister Watasuki Reiiiro. There was a business boom in Japan after World War One and all companies started a heavily increased production, which turned into an economic bubble. The earthquake that happened in turned into an economic depression state. Which lead to failure of a lot of businesses.

11. Australian Significant Event
Coniston massacre – the Coniston massacre in 1926, it was the massacre of indigenous Australians because the British thought they were inferior to them.
