2 Parents and Children do not choose whether they will attend public school during times of prosperity or financial downturns. School districts must balance reductions in State Aid with programs for kids.

3 Batavia School District Staff looked for
Ways to reduce spending, while maintaining the quality program we have come to be known for. The District has been recognized for using the latest technology to engage students.

4 AWARDS AND DISTINCTIONS
Batavia is consistently ranked as a major overachiever among school districts. Academic performance is much better than expected, given the percentage of students who are eligible for free or reduced lunch.
