3 Two examples of Ethnocentrism
Jewish holocaust Genocide in Rwanda in East Africa In the years between 1933 and 1939 ,The Nazi regime had bought racial ,daunting ,social and economic ,and community change for the German Jewish people .By thousands of Jews remained interned in concentration camps following the mass arrests in the aftermath of the Kristallnacht . On September 1,1939 the government imposed new restrictions of Jews living in Germany the Jews were facing curfews and also wearing yellow stars to represent and show that they were Jewish . Jewish people had many of their property taken away from them such as their homes ,radios, bicycles, cameras and other electrical appliances . Jews were forced to live in ghettos and concentration camps they were unfed ,no shower and also majority of the Jews died of starvation within living in the camps . On April 6th 1994 carrying habyarimana and burndi’s president cyprien Ntaryamira was shot down over Kigali ,leaving no survivors . It was never determined who shot down the plane but some blamed the leaders of RPF’S and Hutu extremists .The Hutu militia set up roadblocks and barricades and even slaughtered Tutsis and moderate Hutu with impunity . Among the first victims of the Genocide was the prime minister Agathe Uwilingiyimana and her 10 Belgian bodyguards . The violence created a mass more of killings throughout Kigali to the rest of the country with at least 800,000 people over the next three months .

The Jewish holocaust was more towards race and the removal of all Jews out of Europe .Adolf Hitler and the German population felt like the Main reason why the War World started was because of the Jews The Nazis tried to hide what they were doing Nazi’s used Jews as the reason for Germany’s poverty so they decided to try and eliminate the Jewish population from Germany. While the Rwanda genocide was towards its independence. A lot of Hutus people felt like the they were more minorities even with the gaining of their independence. As well as Major General Juvenal Habyarimana signing an agreement with the government and RPF’S Ceasefire negotiation . Habyarimana signed an agreement at Arusha, Tanzania, calling for the creation of a transition government that would include the RPF. While signing this agreement he angered many Hutu extremists . The Hutu did not try to hide what they were doing from the public, everyone knew and it was very clear,
